Join Chef Jennifer and her guests, the remarkable organization k9 Connection, a
non-profit group committed to helping troubled teens and homeless shelter
dogs on the euthanized list.The k9 Connection program will spread awareness
of their mission to educate and empower counselor-referred teens through
training and bonding with homeless shelter dogs, essentially giving both
formally rejected teen and dog a “new leash on life“.
With summer full swing, more people are spending time outside.
Summer, however, can be a surprisingly dangerous time, with major weather
causing health problems for families and pets, serious bug bites and
sunburns. In fact, the season is filled with a high number of emergency room
visits. There are important safety tips for both adults and children to know so that
summer fun isn’t spoiled. Rod Brouhard, is a paramedic, journalist, educator and contributor

Chicken in Creamy Tomato Curry: Chicken Tikka Masala

Ingredients
For marinade:
1 cup plain yogurt, whisked until smooth
3 tablespoons Ginger-Garlic Paste, recipe follows (or 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger and 3 cloves garlic put through a garlic press or finely minced)
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
