Open Hand is More Than A Meal! Open Hand helps people prevent or better manage chronic disease through Comprehensive Nutrition Care™, which combines home-delivered meals and nutrition education as a means to reinforce the connection between informed food choices and improved quality of life.

To kick off “30 Years of Giving,” which continues throughout 2012, Newman’s Own Foundation has announced an initial round of grants totaling approximately $10 million. In this initial round, significant contributions are being made in support of nutrition, children with life-limiting conditions, empowerment, and the encouragement of philanthropy. These four “high impact areas” represent a refined focus for the Foundation.
